This app will calculate your optimal calorie, protein, fat, carbohydrate and fibre consumption. The calculations are based on variables such as age, weight, height, gender, activity level and weight goal.

The calculator uses the "Mifflin St Jeor Equation" to calculate the BMR (basal metabloic rate).
The ADA (American Dietetic Association) have published a comparison of various equationsand found the Mifflin-St Jeor to be the most accurate.
After the BMR is measured, it uses the "Harris Benedict Equation" to determine daily energy expenditure based on activity level.


The calculators nutrition intake is in accordance with the recommendations of
the Directorate of Health and is measured on the basis of your calorie combustion.
